SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A warm and pleasant day in Siouxland to open the weekend, with temperatures into the mid/upper 70's and low 80's. Dew points though, have spiked into the upper 50's and low 60's so feeling just a bit humid ahead of an approaching weak cold front.

That cold front brings some scattered shower and spotty storm potential through the evening into early Sunday morning. Overnight lows only fall into the upper 50's as a result.

Drier air works back in for our Sunday as that front exits eastward into central and eastern Iowa. Highs in the wake of this frontal passage rise into the mid 70's, so a touch cooler than what we've seen today. Breezy for Sunday as well, with WNW winds 10-20 mph, gusting up to 30-35 mph at times.
