The Game 1 thriller was just the tip of the iceberg, with the two teams battling on the diamond for nearly nine hours before the Lobos finally managed to grind out a 2-1 series win over the Warriors on Saturday at McAllen Rowe’s baseball field. “I can’t describe today,” La Joya Palmview head coach Manuel Garcia said. “The only thing I see is those young men out there.
