The final piece of the Anthony Davis trade with the Pelicans will be conveyed this season as the Lakers ’ first round pick will head to Atlanta after New Orleans dealt it for Dejounte Murray .

As a result, LA will have just its own second round pick in this season’s draft. And after their late-season surge to the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, their pick will be No. 55 overall. It’s a familiar spot for the Lakers, as they selected Bronny James with that selection last season.
