AMITE, La. (WVUE) - One of two teenagers shot Monday (May 5) in a residential neighborhood in Amite has died from his injuries.

On Friday (May 9), Amite police announced the arrest of Pharell “Trent” Town, 17. Police say that Town was at South Fifth Street and Martin Luther King Drive around 7 p.m., where he is accused of fatally shooting one victim and wounding another.

Town was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Friday night for first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

Before Town’s arrest, police announced the arrests of three additional suspects, and all of them were booked with principal to first-degree murder and principal to attempted first-degree murder:

Natajaa Williams, 18, of Hammond

Paris Sky Brumfield, 18, of Ponchatoula
