Charges have officially been filed for Windrose’s former medical director, who police witnessed purchase drugs he had previously prescribed from a confidential informant.
The Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday officially charged Dr. Derrick L. Hasenour, 44, of Bargersville, with three felonies: Dealing a Schedule II Controlled Substance as a Level 5 Felony, Dealing a Controlled Substance by a Practitioner as a Level 4 Felony, and Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Fraud or Deceit as a Level 6 Felony.
Hasenour is no longer employed with Windrose, as he was immediately placed on unpaid leave when the company learned of his arrest. In addition to being the company’s medical director, he had been practicing family medicine with a specialty in obstetrics at the Trafalgar-based l
