LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man was sentenced to prison for being drunk behind the wheel of a crash that killed two of his passengers last year.
A judge sentenced 35-year-old Grabiel Revilla to 19-20 years in prison for manslaughter and DUI with credit for one year already served. Revilla took a plea deal last month to get one of the manslaughter charges dropped.
Revilla was charged in the April 14, 2024 deaths of 21-year-old Darien Rosales and 23-year-old Omar Rios. Prosecutors said he was speeding while intoxicated when his Honda Pilot crashed into a tree near South 28th Street and Pine Lake Road.
Rosales and Rios died at the scene, but first responders found Revilla unconscious inside the vehicle. Police said his blood alcohol content measured .119 at the hospital. He was ar
