MIDDLE TOWNSHIP — Four projects could see millions in county investment under a recommendation from the Open Space Advisory Committee, with the total funding coming in at $6.74 million.

Open Space Program Director Scott Mullen made the pitch to the Cape May County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, recommending funding for the David Douglass Memorial Park in Lower Township, Harborview Park in Cape May, improvements to the Clarence and Georgina Davies recreation complex in the Goshen section of Middle Township and new amenities and an accessible dune crossover for the north end of Sea Isle City, where Len Desiderio is mayor.

Desiderio is also the director of the county Board of Commissioners, and welcomed the presentation.
