The Exchange Club of Fontana has assigned Mayor Acquanetta Warren as this year’s grand marshal for the 112th Fontana Days Parade. Warren has served eight years as a city councilmember and is in her fourth term as mayor.

“The Exchange Club has always taken care of the historical celebration of what Fontana stands for, having the parade and the carnival with all these events,” Warren said. “They even raise money for great student scholarships. All that goes a long way with me, so whenever they need help, I try to be there. We work with our staff and get what they need. These parades are amazing and probably the highlight for me and my family. I enjoy it.”

People can attend the free celebration at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at the parade’s kick-off point, Arrow Boulevard and Sierra Avenue. Th
