BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man is expected to be ok after he was found near a Goodwill parking lot with stab wounds Sunday evening.
An East Baton Rough Parish Sheriff’s deputy was called to the Goodwill on Coursey Blvd around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, May 18.
A witness called to report a man in the road bleeding after an incident that started in the Goodwill parking lot.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
A deputy was involved in a crash while on the way to investigate the reported stabbing.
According to EBRSO, the deputy was traveling on Coursey Blvd., crossing Airline Highway around 7 p.m. when he crashed into a northbound vehicle.
The driver was ok and was able to take themself to the hospital to get checked out as a precaution.
The deputy was not injured.
