LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — At least 19 people are dead and several others are injured after a tornado tore through Laurel County, KY, late Friday evening, according to Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear.

Beshear also said that 10 Kentuckians are at UK Hospital being treated for injuries related to the severe weather. Three of those are in critical condition, with four upgraded to "fair" and three in"good" condition.

According to the National Weather Service, it is estimated that the storm that tore through multiple counties was an EF-2 or EF-3.
