NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – There was another brief communications outage between air traffic controllers and flights in and out of Newark Airport Monday morning, according to the FAA.

Around 11:35 a.m., Philadelphia TRACON, which guides aircraft traffic in and out of Newark, “lost radio frequencies” for around two seconds, a spokesperson for the FAA told PIX11 News.

"All aircraft remained safely separated. The FAA is investigating," the spokesperson said.
