FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons have signed undrafted free agent center Michael Gonzalez, the organization announced Friday.

Gonzalez played college football at the University of Louisville and started every game at left guard for the Cardinals over the last two seasons. The Falcons have a history of cross-training players on the interior of their offensive line, and they've clearly identified Gonzalez as a prospect capable of making the transition to center.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound lineman appeared in 51 games for Louisville in his four years with the program, helping Louisville average more than 175 rushing yards per game during his last two seasons.
