LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The humidity already went up for some folks Thursday; everyone will notice the increase by Friday.

The humidity will return Friday as southerly winds return; so expect it to feel more uncomfortable again this holiday weekend. A few showers may return Sunday with a better chance into next week. Memorial Day forecast should be warm and humid with highs in the mid to upper 80s and heat indices in the low to mid 90s.

Rain chances will be very minimal through Saturday with nothing more than a few stray showers possible mainly in the afternoon hours along the seabreeze boundary. Rain chances will increase slightly on Sunday with a few more showers possible; still not enough to cause any problems.
