Blessed Trinity rallied out of a 4-0 deficit and trailed 6-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning before edging Cartersville 7-6 in the eighth inning with Carson Zagryn’s game-winning RBI single into leftfield. With the win, Blessed Trinity took the series 2-1 (3-6, 7-3, 7-6). Cartersville built its lead with a four-run top of the fifth inning when Cam Cochran singled to open frame. Head coach Kyle Tucker put in Gavin Renegar to pinch run for Cochran, Julez Pratt drew a walk and then Brayden Logan singled to load the bases with zero outs.
