SUNSET PARK — POLICE ARRESTED Yan Chen, a 47-year-old off-duty NYC Department of Education employee, at 5:47 p.m. Thursday and charged her with assault (2nd and 3rd degree), strangulation (2nd degree), criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child, menacing (3rd degree) and harassment (2nd degree). Further details were not available at press time.

Chen was charged within the 72nd Precinct in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
