NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two teenagers are being treated after they were caught in the crossfire during a shooting that took place at Cedar Hill Park on Memorial Day, officials said.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the incident happened at approximately 2 p.m. on Monday, May 26 as a group of teens gathered at the park to take part in a party to celebrate Memorial Day.

At some point, an argument in the parking lot led to shots being fired. Officials added the teens—aged 16 and 17—were not involved in the dispute, but were caught in the crossfire.

One of the victims reportedly suffered a graze wound to the leg, while the other sustained an injury to the arm and torso.

Detectives with the Specialized Investigations Division are pursuing leads, according to the police
