MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are dead and more than 20 people were hospitalized after a Greyhound passenger bus was involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday, May 26, on a highway near Jackson, Tennessee.
According to a post on the Madison County Fire Department's social media accounts, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 70. At least 39 people were involved in the accident, and around 27 were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals.
Several law enforcement agencies responded to the scene, and an investigation is ongoing.
On Tuesday, a Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesperson told ABC24 that two people died from the crash, which also involved a passenger vehicle.
