Forecast: More chances of scattered showers later this week, drier by the weekend

Light, spotty showers are pushing their way through Mid-Missouri this evening. These showers will continue for the next few hours, but there will still be lots of dry time in between.

Wednesday will be mainly dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will also begin a warming trend.

Rain returns on Wednesday evening and continues into Thursday. The best chance of rain will be in areas south of I-70.

Rain will not be heavy. This will mostly be just a nuisance rain.

Temperatures continue to warm up into the weekend and next week. Highs will be in the 80s.
