Moses Brown junior Adriana Eaton putting together an impressive first round at Cranston Country Club Tuesday.

Eaton shooting a five-under 66 on Day 1 of the RIIL State Golf Championships to jump ahead of the individual field by eight strokes.

In the race for the team title, La Salle leads after 18 holes. The Rams are three strokes ahead of both Prout & Moses Brown.

The tournament continues in Cranston Wednesday with the second & final round.
