Ten Republican Representatives voted in favor of censoring what Delawareans can read at their local libraries. I am sure they would ban and burn books that displease them as well. Last week, the House passed what seems to most normal humans a pretty uncontroversial bill, House Bill 119, also known as the Freedom to Read Act, that would protect the rights of communities to access diverse books and educational materials in both public schools and libraries and establish a fair, transparent process for challenges to library content.
