I’ve always liked my fair share of Beyoncé songs, but I never deemed myself a dedicated member of the BeyHive, AKA the singer’s fanbase. It’s not that I didn't understand the hype; I truly do think she’s deserving of every Grammy Award , sold-out show, and the praise. But it wasn’t until I attended her Cowboy Carter tour at MetLife Stadium on Sunday that I truly understood just how great she was. The 2-hour and 45-minute long show had me dancing and singing (both typical concert activities), but also moved me to tears and left me in awe at the production, special effects, and emotional impact of it all. (That segment to her family really got me.)
