Gilbert Police and staff are implementing strategies to improve safety on local roads, officials said.
Town Engineer Susanna Struble and Gilbert Police Cmdr. Rob First focused on what they described as the “four E’s” of traffic safety — evaluation, education, enforcement and engineering — in a presentation on traffic safety to Gilbert Town Council.
"Keeping the community safe and efficiently moving through our community is one of our whys," Struble said, noting that town engineers and police prioritize safety and mobility for all users — from school children and commuters to medical patients.
