LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed two bills into law on Wednesday designed to stiffen the state’s penalties against animal abuse. They are CS 150, Abandoning Restrained Dogs During Natural Disasters , and CS 255, Aggravated Animal Cruelty.
