A 56-year-old Roseville man is being held on a $1 million cash bond after he was arraigned on charges of shooting someone outside of a cannabis dispensary reportedly after arguing over a parking spot.

Abel Rivard was charged in 39th District Court on charges of assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of felony firearm.

Rivard requested a court-appointed attorney, a court clerk said.

The incident took place Friday morning in the parking lot of the King of Budz pot shop on Groesbeck Highway at Common Road.

Video shared on social media shows the reported aftermath of the dispute where the suspected shooter fled in a white Chevy Cruise. Voices can be heard on the clip instructing the camera operator to film the vehicle’s license plate.
