AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Sod Poodles defeated the Frisco Roughriders in Game 2 by a score of 11-2 on Wednesday.

Several players were responsible for the 13 total Sod Poodles hits, but the story of the day was Tommy Troy.

The Arizona Diamondbacks #8 prospect went 2-4 at the plate, both hits resulting in homeruns to double his season total entering the game.

Ivan Melendez also went 2-4 in the game with his latter ball leaving the park for his 9th homerun this year.

LuJames Groover, Caleb Roberts and Jose Fernandez also finished the ballgame with multiple hits in the contest.

Dylan Ray pitched another masterclass on the mound for his 6th win of the season. In 7.0 innings, he allowed three hits for two runs and tallied six strikeouts.
