SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 1 -ranked Angelo State University baseball team will have some big shoes to fill for the 2026 season, but the Rams have some key players coming back to try to make a run at the NCAA Division II College World Series again.
ASU finished 48-10 overall and the Rams went 39-7 in the Lone Star Conference for the best mark in league history.
After winning the LSC regular-season title, LSC Tournament and the South Central Regional title at home, the Rams' season ended in a two-game sweep by No. 5 UT Tyler in the super regional in San Angelo last weekend, coming up just short of making the CWS for the fifth straight season.
The Rams will add some new faces next season to go along with returning veterans such as junior designated hitter Chase P
