ANN ARBOR – There are still more than six months until signing day for the 2026 recruiting class, but Thursday kicks off arguably the most important month of this cycle.

During the quiet period from May 29-June 22, football programs across the country will welcome prospective recruits on campus for official visits, where the school pays for the prospect and their family’s travel and other accommodations.

Many prospects announce their commitments during the ensuing summer dead period, where contact between players and college coaches is prohibited.
