DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — A high-speed chase occurred in Daviess County late Wednesday night, resulting in the arrest of a Owensboro man.

Daviess County Sheriff's Office said a deputy attempted to stop a black 2016 Cadillac CTS on Old Hartford Road in Owensboro after clocking it at 74 MPH in a 35 MPH zone.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Trevor L. Aull of Owensboro, continued to flee, prompting a vehicle pursuit. During the chase, Aull was observed throwing items from the vehicle.

The pursuit ended near the intersection of Southeastern Parkway, where Aull was taken into custody. Deputies discovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of cash in the vehicle and on Aull.
