LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Texas Tech learned its first three kick times for the 2025 football season on Thursday as the Big 12 Conference announced the television selections for its non-conference home matchups with Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Kent State and Oregon State.

ESPN+ will carry Texas Tech’s season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Aug. 30 with kickoff slated for 6:30 p.m. CT inside Jones AT&T Stadium.

ESPN+ is the home to hundreds of Texas Tech live events annually as part of the Big 12’s expanded media rights agreement with the network, which includes coverage of men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball and most Olympic sports.

The Red Raiders will have an 11 a.m. CT kick the following week against Kent State with television coverage provided by TNT and Max.
