The Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) recently marked its 61st anniversary with a Soul Train–themed gala at the Ziegfeld Ballroom.

The event brought together artists, changemakers, and supporters to celebrate the enduring influence of Black culture—and raised over $845,000 in the past few months.

These funds will directly support scholarships and world-class arts training for nearly 5,000 NYC students each year, the majority of whom are Black or Latino and from underserved communities.
