Showers are exiting the region this evening. Rain is becoming lighter with more people seeing dry time this evening. Overall rain totals have not been too impressive. Most areas south of I-70 have seen around 0.25" while areas north of I-70 have seen just enough to wet the ground in most areas.

Cloud cover decreases overnight and sunshine will prevail through Friday. Temperatures will also be on a warming trend starting Friday.

Sunshine will prevail through the weekend. Don't forget sunscreen for any outdoor plans. The UV Index will be around an 8, meaning sunburns could occur in about 30 mins.

The weekend stays dry, but an active pattern will likely return midweek.
