SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The 2025 Stan Gideon Bobcat Baseball Camp is wrapping up the four-day event this week at Nathan Donsky Field, featuring more than 100 youngsters.

The camp was broken down to two sessions. The first session was for incoming second-graders through incoming sixth-graders. And the second session was for incoming seventh-graders through incoming high school freshmen.

Gideon is the head coach for the San Angelo Central High School team, and he is getting an early look at some potential future Bobcats.

The Central coach said he had about 15 varsity players who helped out with the camp.

Youngsters were working on all kinds of skills on the diamond.
