"Ways to Discovery" Chautauqua Series 2025 The second event in the "Ways to Discovery" Chautauqua Series 2025. Coinciding with National Trails Day, the event will begin with a lecture by Terri Treacy and Dr. Michael Wiant on "Exploring Menard County Trails: Ancient, Historical, Present and Futuristic." The talk will be followed by a live performance by Ben Bedford, a Springfield-based songwriter who documents the region's history and wildlife in song. Sponsored by Menard County Trails & Greenways with support by the Illinois Arts Council and the Springfield Area Arts Council. Wheelchair accessible and kid-friendly.
