On behalf of the Rancho Mirage Woman's Club board of directors and members I am pleased to announce that, since inception, we have exceeded donations totaling $1 million to local charities supporting our mission of "Dedication to the youth, education and advancement of our community."

This year's "Disco & Diamonds" fundraising gala was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage and was a huge success. We want to thank our sponsors and donors and especially our gala chair, Shannon Shea, who worked tirelessly to create an afternoon to remember.

As a result of the gala and our sponsors and donors, we were able to donate a record $70,000 this year to the following organizations in attendance at our Philanthropic Awards Luncheon held April 24 at Mission Hills Country C
