COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The 50th edition of the Memorial Tournament has resumed with second round play underway from Muirfield Village.

Friday means cut day as the field will get smaller for the weekend's final two rounds. Leading heading into round two is Ben Griffin, who shot an outstanding seven-under par score in the first round. He will tee off with Shane Lowry at 1 p.m.

Golfers hit the course right at 7:50 a.m. after only 13 of them shot under par in the first round. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler (-2) will start just after 10 a.m. while the likes of Collin Morikawa (-5) and Max Homa (-4) look to make moves up the field.
