OKLAHOMA CITY (KIAH) – The Texas Longhorns are making a strong statement at the Women’s College World Series after shutting out Florida 3-0 at Devon Park.
First baseman Joley Mitchell made history, blasting two home runs — the first time a Longhorn has ever hit multiple homers in a single World Series game.
With the win, Texas improves to 3-1 against Florida this season.
