BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Authorities say a man with a significant criminal history was taken into custody this week after being connected to another robbery.

Jail records show Gregory Moore, 31, of Central, was arrested on Thursday, May 29, on one count of simple robbery.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD), the suspect robbed a person servicing an ATM at Kim’s Food Mart on North Street on Jan. 20, 2023. He allegedly took a bag of approximately $7,000 in cash.

After identifying Moore as the suspect, police say Moore was taken into custody in East Feliciana Parish and transported to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, where he was booked.

According to BRPD, Moore previously had two arrests in 2018 for armed robbery, a simple robbery arrest in 2018, a first-degree robbery
