DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- An officer with the Napier Field Police Department was arrested this week on misdemeanor trespassing charges.
Officials with the Midland City Police Department confirmed that Officer Daniel Sanders turned himself in to authorities in Midland City this week on charges of criminal trespassing at a home.
According to MCPD, on May 27, Officer Sanders entered a home in Midland City "unwelcomed" and found the female homeowner in a "compromising position."
Officials say a classmate and acquaintance of Officer Sanders once lived at the home but had moved away over a year ago.
The current homeowner filed a complaint with the Midland City Police Department, and a warrant was issued on misdemeanor charges.
No additional charges are expected at this time.
