CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Severe storms were possible in the Charlotte region on Friday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms were likely across the Charlotte Metro in North and South Carolina on Friday, May 30. Much of the region was at an enhanced risk (level 3 of 5) for severe weather.
