Gov. Walz to speak at key DNC events on both US coasts

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Gov. Tim Walz will travel Saturday to two different states, one on each coast, as the featured speaker at their respective Democratic Conventions.

The events in South Carolina and California come as he remains visible on the national stage after losing his bid for the vice presidency last November.

The convention in South Carolina will be held in Columbia, the state capital, while the California event will take place in Anaheim. In recent weeks, both state Democratic Parties have heavily advertised Walz's role at their conventions.
