NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson has been named in a lawsuit alleging multiple charges including rape.

According to documents filed in a Los Angeles court, the unidentified woman, Jane Doe, claims Williamson allegedly kidnapped, raped and terrorized her on multiple occasions.

Documents state the lawsuit was filled on Thursday, May 29 by an alleged ex of Williamson who claimed they started dating in 2018 while at Duke.

The lawsuit reads that on Sept. 23, 2020, Williamson "raped and assaulted " the woman at his Beverly Hills home in Southern California.
