GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — We're learning more about a triple homicide that unfolded in Haubstadt through court documents released Friday.

As we reported, deputies responded to a shooting at a home on South Scottsdale Drive in Haubstadt around 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening.

Three victims were killed in the incident, a fourth was critically injured, and a 77-year-old suspect, Patrick Waite, was arrested.

An affidavit for a search warrant was filed in court for Waite's property, where the shooting happened.

According to the affidavit, Waite called 911 on himself and said he had shot people inside his home, and that he would be waiting on law enforcement outside.
