Elon Musk 's alleged drug consumption went beyond occasional use, according to a new report.

According to The New York Times , who spoke to multiple sources, the tech billionaire, 53, allegedly told people he was taking so much ketamine that it was affecting his bladder.

Ketamine is an anesthetic medication that promotes sleep before and during surgery. The Cleveland Clinic lists liver injury as a possible side effect of the medication. The Food and Drug Administration has formally approved the use of ketamine only as an anesthetic in medical procedures.

Musk also allegedly took Ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms. Per the Times , he allegedly traveled with a daily medication box that held about 20 pills, including ones with the markings of the stimulant Adderall.
