MISSOULA — Missoula’s Alec Sanchez hit a tie-breaking three-run home run in the seventh inning, and the PaddleHeads clubbed four homers in a 15-8 Pioneer League baseball win over Glacier Thursday.
Antonio Barranca hit a grand slam and Efrain Manzo added a three-run shot for the Range Riders (6-3), who led 7-1 in the third inning.
That advantage went away thanks to home runs from Colin Gordon, Adam Fogel, Taylor Smith and Sanchez. Smith’s solo shot tied the game at 8-8 in the sixth inning and Sanchez’ bomb put the PaddleHeads (5-4) up 11-8.
Mike Rosario hit an RBI single and later scored to put Missoula up 15-8 in the eighth inning — the PaddleHeads’ 10th straight run.
Sanchez had three hits and drove in five runs; Rosario had three hits — two doubles — and three RBIs for Missoula.
