Two teens were arrested Friday afternoon for an early morning shooting that killed a 59-year-old man, Fort Wayne police said.

Jayden Cosme, 18, and Jaylen Murray, 19, were taken into custody on preliminary charges of murder, a news release said. They were arrested during a high-risk traffic stop near the intersection of South Anthony Boulevard and Lanternier Street more than 12 hours after the shooting.

Around 2:05 a.m., police were called to the 2600 block of Wells Street between Lillian and Russell avenues where they found a man who had multiple gunshot wounds. Medics transported the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Laron Duane Rosse was identified as the victim by the Allen County coroner's office Friday. Rosse died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled
