SEATTLE — Picture this. It’s three hours before a baseball game. The music is off in the visitors’ clubhouse. By and large, the Washington Nationals are doing what they are always doing at this time, which is to say they’re reclining, crosswording, gaming, texting and biding time before what eventually became Thursday’s extra-innings win over the Seattle Mariners.
