AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Yellow City Pigweeds hosted Frisco out at HODGETOWN for game four of their series, but fell by a score of 7-1.
Frisco’s Jordan Walcott, the current number one prospect for the Texas Rangers, shined brightly after hitting two home runs in the game.
Manuel Pena was the lone scorer for the Pigweeds in the loss.
Spencer Giesting got the start on the mound for Amarillo. In 5.2 innings pitched, he allowed four runs off of nine hits while striking out five batters. He picks up his second loss of the season tonight.
The RoughRiders now lead the series, 2-1.
The two teams will be back at HODGETOWN on Saturday for game five of the series. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. CST.
