LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) - The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Silver State Health Services was indicted Friday, May 30, for allegedly embezzling more than $2 million of federal grant funds intended for a Las Vegas health care center to help indigent clients.

David Ryan Linden, 36, then CEO of Silver State Health Services (SSHS), and Rich Kiran Saga, 53, a real estate investor, conspired to steal SSHS funds, according to the indictment allegations.

On May 13, a federal grand jury returned the 13-count superseding indictment charging Linden and Saga with one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States; six counts of federal program theft; one count of conspiracy to violate sections 1956 and 1957; two counts of money laundering; two counts of money transactions
