FAYETTEVILLE, Ark (KATV) — The Arkansas Razorbacks have lost a home regional game on Saturday for the last two years.
The Saturday scaries ended this year as the Hogs advanced to 2-0 in the 2025 Fayetteville Regional after beating Creighton 12-1.
The Hogs' SEC Player of the Year, shortstop Wehiwa Aloy, started 0-2 at the plate. Then, in the fifth inning, with a 4-0 Razorbacks lead, Aloy sent a three-run blast with an exit velocity of 102 MPH for a distance of 352 feet over the left field fence to open the game up.
The Razorbacks tacked on five more runs, all by way of homers.
Aloy blasted another long bomb in the seventh inning, this time, a two-run home run.
All Razorbacks reached base against the Bluejays. The Hogs had 13 hits to the Bluejays' four.
