The Portland Trail Blazers have hired Quinton Crawford as an assistant coach on Chauncey Billups’ staff, a league source confirmed to Blazer’s Edge. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

NBA insider Chris Haynes first reported the news.

Crawford was the head coach of the Stockton Kings this past season, guiding the club to the 2024-25 NBA G League championship in his first year on the job.

Previously, Crawford worked as an NBA assistant coach for five seasons. The stretch included tenures with the Phoenix Suns (2023-24), Dallas Mavericks (2022-23) and Los Angeles Lakers (2019-22). Before joining the Lakers, Crawford served as the head video coordinator and player development coach with the Charlotte Hornets in 2018-19.
